Coach Pitch Softball:Register Below
Coach Pitch softball will be held on Wednesdays from 4:30PM-5:45PM and on Saturdays from 3:00PM-4:30PM. The program is geared for girls in 1st and 2nd grades. The program features clinic style practices for a few weeks before the games begin. A key objective of the program is that the girls have fun while they are introduced to the sport and learn some of the fundamentals. . The registration link is just below this paragraph. Deadline is March 1.

The Coach Pitch program is for Sluggers aged 6-8 years old. You play one day during the week and on Saturdays. All games and practices are at Edgemont Park. Clinics are held the first two weeks of the progrom, teams are put together after that and the games begin. We hope to start the week of April 9th. We'll skip the school break week-April 16th then start uip again and run until mid-June.
World's Greatest Tball Program-9th Year!!
WGTBall Program launches its 9th season. The program is for Little Sluggers 4-6 years old. The program will be held on Wednesdays and Saturdays with two time slots each day: 4:00PM-5:00PM and 5:00PM-6:00PM on Wednesdays and Saturdays 9:30AM-10:30AM and 10:30AM-11:30AM. You chose 1 hour both days. We hope to begin April 11th and run through mid-June-depending on the weather. Please register below.

Softball Travel Team Tryouts
Tryouts for the 2012 Spring and Summer Travel Softball Teams will be held on Tuesday September 27th at Mt. Hebron School Field. The schedule for that afternoon is:
12u 4-5:30PM
10u & 14u 5:30-7PM
You need to register for the tryout online through this website-the registration area will be ready soon. The cost for the tryout is $10. This fee is waived if you have signed up for the MBSC Fall Softball Program.
The age you are on January 1, 2012 determines which age group you should try out for, For example If you are already 11 years old before January 1, 2012 you cannot play on the 10u team in 2012-but would have to move up to the next agr group, the 12u's. If you turn 11 anytime in 2012 you are still eligible to play on the 10u team.

8u Summer Baseball League Info
The 8u Summer Baseball League will be played during the month of July. This is an extension of the Spring Coach Pitch Program with a few differences.
Sessions will be held on Monday and Wednesday evenings from 6-8PM. Coaches of the teams may add their own practices on other days but these will not be required. The first session will be held on Wedesday July 6th. The last session will be held on Wednesday July 27th. If a session is cancelled due to rain we will make every effort to make it up on another day, but we can't guarantee that we will get all 7 scheduled sessions in.
We will use the same RIF (softer) ball that we have used in the spring. Kids will pitch more, but there will not be called balls and strikes. It is expected that parent coaches will take over the teams much more than in the spring and the rosters will be much more set. A college-aged coach will be present to supervise and moniter the games.
We will pick coaches and put together rosters before the first session. Please let us know if you would like to coach. We will try to divide the teams up evenly as possible.
